Inmensamente agradecidos al Festival ME Film Festival, al estado de Georgia y la ciudad de Milledgeville por esta nueva selección oficial.

Es la segunda vez que somos seleccionados por este prestigioso festival de los Estados Unidos. En esta ocasion con nuestro ultimo trabajo "El Reloj de Paula"

Con el paso de los años advertimos que nuestro cine es valorado positivamente en USA y este hecho me llena de satisfacción.

Debido a la pandemia del Covid-19 el festival se ha visto retrasado hasta el mes de noviembre, pero allí estaremos!!

Quiero felicitar a todo el equipo que lo ha hecho posible, a las actrices y actores y a todos nuestros patrocinadores y organismos que han avalado este bonito proyecto. Una producción que proyecta un mensaje muy claro “Hemos de seguir defendiendo los derechos de los más vulnerables”.

It is the second time that we are selected by this prestigious festival in the United States. This time with our latest work "El Reloj de Paula"

Over the years we notice that our cinema is valued positively in the USA and this fact fills me with satisfaction.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival has been delayed until November, but we will be there !!

I want to congratulate all the team that has made this possible, the actresses and actors and all our sponsors and organizations that have endorsed this beautiful project. A production that projects a very clear message "We must continue defending the rights of the most vulnerable."

 "Una reflexión sobre el duelo. Brillantemente dirigido y repleto de matices.  Un cortometraje excelente y ambicioso." Excelente y ambicioso cortometraje el dirigido por José Luis López Ortiz, con guión del propio director y de Sonia Giménez, que aporta un toque femenino imprescindible a la historia, porque “El reloj de Paula”, es la historia de dos niñas marcadas por dos situaciones tan dolorosas como la enfermedad y el maltrato paterno.  Ambas son víctimas de dos situaciones límite y solo las salva su entrañable amistad.  José Luis López Ortiz ha sabido narrar, con una cuidada dirección de dos actrices excelentes como Candela Moreno, en el papel de Paula, y Enya Lechuga, en el de Clara, una historia llena de matices que utiliza los relojes, y más concretamente el reloj que Clara le regala a Paula, como los medidores de un tiempo pasado que nunca volverá.  En este sentido es encomiable la utilización del tiempo que hace el director, así como el uso de la metáfora del hámster

(ENGLISH) While other children played ball and ran along the streets, Jose Luis Lopez was a child who liked to observe everything that happened inside and outside his world. Drawing, coloring, painting, constructing and photographing, from time to time, with his father's "Werlisa Mat" camera, were part of the everyday doing that would somehow mark the rest of his career as an artist. A degree in Fine Arts, a degree in audiovisual production and a Master's degree in marketing and communication, José Luis has developed his entire career as an advertising creative, audiovisual producer and press editor. Many years ago José Luis lay aside the brushes and the color palette, but these have accompanied in silent for the rest of his life. The lights, the cameras, the publicity and the publishing world have been able to fill the void all these years.
