Sant Boi Breathes a New Breath of Air: Great public acceptance: 1,800 people in 3 days of screening

On December 6, 7 and 8, more than 1,800 people were able to watch the VIP Screening of the new short film by José Luis López Ortiz, "Sant Boi Breathes a New Breath of Air". This new film produced by Punto & Ap Arte SCP has had the associated production of the Sant Boi de Llobregat City Council.

The film is a fictional documentary that narrates a morning in the life of Carla (played by Ariadna de Guzmán) and other citizens of the Santboiana town.

"Once again, autumn has arrived in Sant Boi and along the road of the Llobregat River it moves forward with its bicycle, Carla, a very special Santboiana who had to leave the city for personal reasons. But today is not any Saturday. Although the morning augurs unstable weather, the residents of the city have decided to share a time with Carla and all of us. And nobody can prevent it from being so. Because today ... Today yes! Sant Boi, breathe another breath of air "

The documentary is based on thousands of real stories and has required extensive preproduction and production work. Since the characters in 90% of the cases were not accustomed to working in front of the cameras.

Los pasados días 6, 7 y 8 de diciembre más de 1.800 personas tuvieron la posibilidad de visionar en exclusiva el nuevo cortometraje del director santboià José Luis López Ortiz: “Sant Boi Respira un Altre AIre”. Esta nueva película producida por Punto & Ap Arte SCP ha contado con la producción asociada del Ajuntament de Sant Boi de Llobregat.

El film es un documental ficcionado que narra una mañana en la vida de Carla (interpretada por Ariadna de Guzmán) i otros ciudadanos de la villa santboiana.

“Un año más el otoño ha llegado a Sant Boi y por el camino del río Llobregat avanza decidida con su bicicleta, Carla, una santboiana muy especial que tuvo que abandonar la ciudad por cuestiones personales. Pero hoy no es un sábado cualquiera. Aunque la mañana augura tiempo inestable, los vecinos de la ciudad ha decidido compartir un rato con Carla y con todos nosotros. Y nadie podrá evitar que así sea. Porque hoy .. ¡Hoy sí! Sant Boi, respira otro aire “

El documental está basado en miles de historias reales y ha requerido un extenso trabajo de preproducción y producción. Ya que los personajes en un 90% de los casos no estaban acostumbrados a trabajar delante de las cámaras.

 "Una reflexión sobre el duelo. Brillantemente dirigido y repleto de matices.  Un cortometraje excelente y ambicioso." Excelente y ambicioso cortometraje el dirigido por José Luis López Ortiz, con guión del propio director y de Sonia Giménez, que aporta un toque femenino imprescindible a la historia, porque “El reloj de Paula”, es la historia de dos niñas marcadas por dos situaciones tan dolorosas como la enfermedad y el maltrato paterno.  Ambas son víctimas de dos situaciones límite y solo las salva su entrañable amistad.  José Luis López Ortiz ha sabido narrar, con una cuidada dirección de dos actrices excelentes como Candela Moreno, en el papel de Paula, y Enya Lechuga, en el de Clara, una historia llena de matices que utiliza los relojes, y más concretamente el reloj que Clara le regala a Paula, como los medidores de un tiempo pasado que nunca volverá.  En este sentido es encomiable la utilización del tiempo que hace el director, así como el uso de la metáfora del hámster

(ENGLISH) While other children played ball and ran along the streets, Jose Luis Lopez was a child who liked to observe everything that happened inside and outside his world. Drawing, coloring, painting, constructing and photographing, from time to time, with his father's "Werlisa Mat" camera, were part of the everyday doing that would somehow mark the rest of his career as an artist.
