Montecatini International Film Festival es uno de los festivales más antiguos y respetados de Europa.
Celebrado en la Toscana durante el bello período otoñal. Del 22 al 28 de octubre de 2018, el 69th MISFF es un acontecimiento ideal para visitar uno de los lugares más encantadores del mundo, y asistir a la proyección del cine independiente más destacado del panorama actual.
MISFF fue creado por la Federación Italiana de Cineclubs (Fedic). Uno de los principales objetivos de este certamen cinematográfico es mostrar cine actual y de vanguardia de diferentes lugares del mundo y promocionar a cineastas emergentes.

Este año LA CAMISETA, una película de José Luis López Ortiz tras ser proyectada en el marco de este prestigioso festival italiano, ha obtenido la mención de honor especial del jurado. El festival ha contado con la presencia de realizadores de las más diversas procedencias (Italia, Taiwán, Federación de Rusia, Reino Unido, Túnez, Japón, Suiza, Estados Unidos, Polonia, Austria, Corea, Finlandia, Francia, Grecia, Irán, Bélgica, Canadá, Eslovenia, Serbia y España). 44 candidatos han formado la sección oficial en la que competiran por obtener el máximo galardón de esta nueva edición "El trofeo al mejor cortometraje internacional de ficción 2018”. ¡Muchas felicidades a todos los participantes!

MISFF is one of the oldest and most respected festivals in Europe.
Held in Tuscany during beautiful autumnal period, from 22 to 28 October 2018, it is a perfect occasion to have a holiday in one of the most charming places in the world while meeting film-makers and watching good cinema.
MISFF was created by Italian Federation of Cineclubs (Fedic) and they love cinema and do all the best to promote it.

This year THE T-SHIRT, a film by José Luis López Ortiz will be awared with the honour of the Jury in this prestigious italian festival where you can discover the best independent film from arround the world (Italy, Taiwan, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, Tunisia, Japan, Switzerland, United States, Poland, Austria, Korea, Finland, France, Greece, Iran, Belgium, Canada, Slovenia, Serbia, and Spain). 44th candidates that has been in competition for the highest award “The Best International Fiction Short Film Trophy”. Congratulations to all the films!

 "Una reflexión sobre el duelo. Brillantemente dirigido y repleto de matices.  Un cortometraje excelente y ambicioso." Excelente y ambicioso cortometraje el dirigido por José Luis López Ortiz, con guión del propio director y de Sonia Giménez, que aporta un toque femenino imprescindible a la historia, porque “El reloj de Paula”, es la historia de dos niñas marcadas por dos situaciones tan dolorosas como la enfermedad y el maltrato paterno.  Ambas son víctimas de dos situaciones límite y solo las salva su entrañable amistad.  José Luis López Ortiz ha sabido narrar, con una cuidada dirección de dos actrices excelentes como Candela Moreno, en el papel de Paula, y Enya Lechuga, en el de Clara, una historia llena de matices que utiliza los relojes, y más concretamente el reloj que Clara le regala a Paula, como los medidores de un tiempo pasado que nunca volverá.  En este sentido es encomiable la utilización del tiempo que hace el director, así como el uso de la metáfora del hámster

(ENGLISH) While other children played ball and ran along the streets, Jose Luis Lopez was a child who liked to observe everything that happened inside and outside his world. Drawing, coloring, painting, constructing and photographing, from time to time, with his father's "Werlisa Mat" camera, were part of the everyday doing that would somehow mark the rest of his career as an artist. A degree in Fine Arts, a degree in audiovisual production and a Master's degree in marketing and communication, José Luis has developed his entire career as an advertising creative, audiovisual producer and press editor. Many years ago José Luis lay aside the brushes and the color palette, but these have accompanied in silent for the rest of his life. The lights, the cameras, the publicity and the publishing world have been able to fill the void all these years.
