Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year 2018, Tangier international Film Festival has firmly established itself on the regional film fest circuit as one of the most reputable african film festivals.

And this year I will attend the event with my recent shortfilm The T-Shirt (La Camiseta) that has been selected at the Official International Competition.

The T-shirt is a social label short film that bases it story development in a visual metaphor.

In this new short film we address the feeling of rage. Undoubtedly one of the great cancers that houses the human being inside from the beginning of times.

A bomb that we carry without knowing it and that can explode unexpectedly destroying everything that is in our nearest radio, us inclusive.

A feeling that we have to analyze in depth to manage in benefit of our health and our own image.

Ricardo, interpreted by Jesús Puchol, the protagonist of the film, will show us that accepting pain is sometimes the only way to move forward

El Festival Internacional de Tanger, que este año 2018 celebra su décima edición, está considerado como uno de los más prestigiosos del continente africano.

Y este año tendremos el honor de asistir a su celebración con mi último trabajo La Camiseta (The T-Shirt) en calidad de invitados por haber estado seleccionados como finalistas para la Competición Oficial de este destacado festival. 


La Camiseta es un cortometraje de etiqueta social que basa el desarrollo de su trama en una metáfora visual. 

En este nuevo cortometraje abordamos el sentimiento de la ira. Sin lugar a dudas uno de los grandes cánceres que alberga el ser humano en su interior desde el principio de los tiempos.

Una bomba que portamos sin saberlo y que puede estallar inesperadamente destrozando todo lo que se encuentra en nuestro radio más cercano, nosotros inclusive.

Un sentimiento que hemos de analizar en profundidad para conseguir canalizar en aras de nuestra salud y nuestra propia imagen.

Ricardo, encarnado por Jesús Puchol el protagonista del film, nos demostrará que aceptar el dolor, en ocasiones, es el único camino para poder seguir adelante

 "Una reflexión sobre el duelo. Brillantemente dirigido y repleto de matices.  Un cortometraje excelente y ambicioso." Excelente y ambicioso cortometraje el dirigido por José Luis López Ortiz, con guión del propio director y de Sonia Giménez, que aporta un toque femenino imprescindible a la historia, porque “El reloj de Paula”, es la historia de dos niñas marcadas por dos situaciones tan dolorosas como la enfermedad y el maltrato paterno.  Ambas son víctimas de dos situaciones límite y solo las salva su entrañable amistad.  José Luis López Ortiz ha sabido narrar, con una cuidada dirección de dos actrices excelentes como Candela Moreno, en el papel de Paula, y Enya Lechuga, en el de Clara, una historia llena de matices que utiliza los relojes, y más concretamente el reloj que Clara le regala a Paula, como los medidores de un tiempo pasado que nunca volverá.  En este sentido es encomiable la utilización del tiempo que hace el director, así como el uso de la metáfora del hámster

(ENGLISH) While other children played ball and ran along the streets, Jose Luis Lopez was a child who liked to observe everything that happened inside and outside his world. Drawing, coloring, painting, constructing and photographing, from time to time, with his father's "Werlisa Mat" camera, were part of the everyday doing that would somehow mark the rest of his career as an artist. A degree in Fine Arts, a degree in audiovisual production and a Master's degree in marketing and communication, José Luis has developed his entire career as an advertising creative, audiovisual producer and press editor.
