After writing the script and defining the profiles of each of the characters we entered inside the delicate phase of casting. It was the month of November 2017 and we needed to locate two children, a young insurance saleswoman, the ex-wife of Ricardo and Magdalena, a sweet old woman brimming with wisdom acquired over the years.

The challenge was not easy, but the fact that most worried me was locating two children between 8 and 10 years old, that responded to the profile of the person I was looking for and a host of families willing to give everything as extras on a skateboard park.

We went to work and in three days of casting we had managed to locate the two children, Xabi Hernando and Martí Jiménez, the insurance saleswoman, Berta Escobosa, and a few families from the Llor Sant Boi school, who with a total disposition and without knowing very well where they got, they did great.

Isabel, Ricardo's ex, Sandrine Ferraro, Italian-Spanish actress living in Paris and Magdalena, the sweet old woman, Carme Capdet, experienced actress and voice-over of films were already safe signings.

Ricardo, Jesús Puchol, our protagonist was still working on his metamorphosis to enter inside his new role.

We had covered a new stage. Everything went on. And the team satisfied with the results.

Después de escribir el guión y definir los perfiles de cada uno de los personajes entrábamos en la delicada fase de casting. Era el mes de Noviembre de 2017 y necesitábamos localizar a dos niños, una joven vendedora de seguros, la ex esposa de Ricardo y Magdalena, una dulce anciana rebosante de sabiduría adquirida con el paso de los años.

El reto no era fácil, pero el hecho que más me preocupaba era el de localizar dos niños entre 8 y 10 años, que respondieran al perfil de persona que estaba buscando y un sinfín de familias dispuestas a darlo todo como figurantes en una pista de skate.

Nos pusimos a trabajar y en tres jornadas de casting habíamos conseguido localizar a los dos niños Xabi Hernando y Martí Jiménez, la vendedora de seguros, Berta Escobosa, y unas cuantas familias del colegio Llor de Sant Boi, que con total predisposición y sin saber muy bien dónde se metían, lo hicieron genial.

Isabel, la ex de Ricardo, Sandrine Ferraro, actriz ítalo-española residente en París y Magdalena, la dulce anciana, Carme Capdet, actriz experimentada y dobladora de voz de películas ya eran fichajes seguros.

Ricardo, Jesús Puchol, nuestro protagonista seguía trabajando su metamorfosis para entrar en su nuevo papel.

Habíamos cubierto una nueva etapa. Todo seguía adelante. Y el equipo satisfecho de los resultados.
